Poacher is Lincolnshire’s International Scout and Guide Jamboree – and we’re back again for the 11th time in 2022, bringing you the adventure of a lifetime.

Poacher is one of the biggest jamborees in the UK, welcoming over 6,000 Scouts and Guides from around the world to Lincolnshire in 2022 for a week of fun, friendship and adventure they’ll never forget.

Poacher is known for offering a huge range of activities both on and off site! With hundreds of adventurous and creative activities as well as and exciting programme of entertainment and trips to local places of interest and our special Water Village; there is something to suit all ages and tastes!

What to expect

When and where is Poacher 2022?

Poacher 2022 takes place from Saturday 30th July to Saturday 6th August 2022.

How much does it cost?

Participants 10-17 inclusive - £210
Leaders, staff and young leaders supporting a group - £25

Book and pay a non-refundable deposit of £30 per participant by 31st October 2021 to receive a £30 discount per participant - reducing the Camp Fee to £180. The remaining balance should then be paid by 31st January 2022.

Staff fees are due by 30th April 2022.

Cost includes all activities for participants, but does not include transport or food. Staff catering will be available.

How do I get there?

It’s easy to get to Poacher! The city of Lincoln has good local, national and international transport links and is just a 15 minute bus journey from the Lincolnshire Showground via Service 103.

Lincoln Central train station has direct links to London, Scotland and the midlands.

East Midlands, Humberside and Robin Hood airports are all within an hour by road.

Heathrow airport is 2h 45m away by road, or is accessible by rail via London.

Who can attend?

Members of the Scout and Guide sections from around the world aged 10-17 inclusive can attend Poacher 2022 as a participant – that’s those born between July 30th 2004 and July 30th 2012.

We welcome international bookings; our dedicated International Team will be able to make your visit to Lincolnshire as smooth as possible.
