This is Red 10 Requesting a Fly-By Sunday evening Scouts and Guides at Poacher were treated to a special surprise. An unexpected fly-by from our beloved Red Arrows. The normal peace of a Sunday evening at Poacher was disrupted by a dramatic fly past by the World Famous Red Arrows. The Arrows circled the showground before landing in RAF Scampton nearby. The ten Red Arrows flew over the Showground in their trademark perfect arrow formation. Screams from Scouts and Guides of “THEY’RE COMING” were heard in the air, seconds before they spectacularly flew over the showground and out of view, but then they returned with a more daring routine, where they dived in a spiral formation back towards the showground. It was an amazing sight, one which is not often seen, especially by 3000 Scouts and Guides. Despite lasting a few mere seconds, the sight will remain in all of our memories forever.
