Poacher is officially open!

Poacher was officially opened last night by the Camp Chiefs, followed by a stunning Kylie tribute act spectacular.

3,000 Scouts and Guides packed into the main arena to the tunes of Lincolnshire Scouts marching band. The formalities then got underway with both Caroline and “Beach” inviting the energetic crowd to “make a lot of friends and make the most of a great week.” The Poacher 2008 flag was then blessed by the Reverend Canon Alan Robson.

After the official proceedings it was time to party in style. DJ Daizy warmed up the crowds ready for a tribute to the Princess of pop, Kylie.

As the Scouts and Guides continued to party the sun set on Poacher 2008 and the week’s events had begun.
